description Newly renovated and landscaped Goose Bay Marina and Campground is nestled along the eastern shore of scenic Canyon Ferry Reservoir about 25 miles north of Townsend, MT. The area is home to pronghorn that wander the northern shores as well as eagles, hawks, osprey, and hundreds of other bird species that favor an aquatic environment. Full marina and campground services are available as are lake views and access to a multitude of recreational opportunities both on land and water. It is the perfect place to enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, exploring, wild life watching, and camping with the family.
drivingDirection From Townsend, MT coming from the South: Turn right on US-12E/Broadway St. Drive for 2.4 miles and turn left on State Hwy 284. Stay on Hwy 284 for 21 miles then turn left on Goose Bay Lane and follow road into campground - about 3 miles. You will see a round-about when you enter the campground. From Helena, MT: Take US-12 E/US-287/Prospect Ave heading East. Turn left onto Lake Helena Drive, turn right to stay on Lake Helena Drive. When you have driven 2 miles you will come to a traffic circle, take the 1st exit (turn right) onto Canyon Ferry Road. Stay on Canyon Ferry Road for 21.3 miles then turn right onto Goose Bay Lane and follow road into campground - about 3 miles. You will see a round-about when you enter the campground.
facilitiesDescription Goose Bay Marina & Campground has a convenience store selling ice, snacks, ice cream, propane, firewood, games, RV supplies, water toys and pharmacy products. Each campsite has an ADA accessible firepit and table.
